REN increases the limit on electricity imports outside of sunlight hours.
According to the decision now communicated by REN, the interconnection between the two countries remains limited to 1,000 megawatts (MW) between 09:00 and 19:00. However, outside this timeframe, the limit rises to 2,200 MW, between May 12 and 19.
