Alexandra de Marichalar has a long career in the international energy sector. Before taking up her current position as Director of Offshore Wind Iberia at TotalEnergies, she was the Territorial Manager at BlueFloat Energy and, previously, Senior Manager energy consultant at Enzen Global Solutions.
The beginnings of her professional career were in Norway to the field of Wave Energy. Later, after a brief career in the Subsea O&G sector, as Project Engineering Manager at General Electric Oil&Gas, she embarked on the Offshore Wind sector, in the field of technology certification at DNV. Where she developed several Innovation projects focused on the Industrialization of Floating technologies.
As a result of the work and her experience, in recent years she has been responsible for the Iberian region for the development of Offshore Wind on a commercial level at TotalEnergies.
