Dorleta Marina Ortiz MSC Industrial Engineer, specialised in Fluid Mechanics and Rotary Machines at University of the Basque Country, 2011 and at the École Centrale Supérieure d’Arts et Mètiers – ParisTech, 2011.
Dorleta has over 10 years of international experience in offshore renewable energy and is one of the pioneers of offshore renewables in the North of Spain. She currently works as Spain and Portugal Country Manager at Simply Blue Group and as Portfolio Director for the Joint venture IberBlue Wind.
Previously, she was project manager at the Biscay Marine Energy Platform, BiMEP a pioneering test facility for wave energy and floating wind devices. She also worked as a research engineer at Pure Marine Gen, Belfast (Developer of Wave Technology), 2011, and at the Basque Energy Agency (EVE), 2014, as a project technician attached to the Department of Renewable Energy and Investment Promotion.
