Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, having completed the Master in Aerodynamics at the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (Belgium) and completed an MBA from INSEAD Business School (France). He was a consultant, between 2000 and 2007, at the BostonConsulting Group, having between 2007 and 2009 held the position of adviser to the Minister of Economy and Innovation.

Since 2009, he has held the position of member of the Board of Directors of REN and member of the Executive comission.
