David Rivera
Iberdrola Portugal | Country Manager
David Rivera is currently Country Manager at Iberdrola Portugal, responsible for all business areas of the group, namely energy production and sales.
Between 2007 and 2023 he worked on the design, development and commissioning of the Tâmega Electroproduction System, one of the largest European hydroelectric projects of the last 25 years, first as head of civil engineering, then as construction director and, since 2017, as project director.
David Rivera began his career at the construction company Dragados, where he joined in 2002 and managed several construction projects.
He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
