Diogo Leal de Faria is a member of the Generation Platform management team at EDP, which is responsibble for the hydro and thermal operations across the group. His main responsabilities include Platform strategic & financial management, regulation, risk and business transformation.

He has ~15 years of experience in the energy sector and prior to join the Generation Platform, Diogo was board member at EDP Global Solutions with the responsibility of the global procurement unit and insurance. He was also a senior manager in the M&A and Corporate Development team of EDP in which he led and collaborated in strategic reviews, investment analysis as well as transactions execution and capital market operations mainly in Iberia.

Diogo holds an MBA from INSEAD and a master & bachelor in electrical engineering with specialization in energy systems from IST in Lisbon (Instituto Superior Técnico).
