Graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, having completed a “Research Master” in Aerodynamics at the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (Belgium) and completed an MBA at Insead (France). Worked as a consultant, between 2000 and 2007, at the Boston Consulting Group and, between 2007 and 2009, was an Advisor of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation in the area of Energy. Since 2009, he has held the position of member of the Board of Directors and member of the Executive Committee of REN.
