Sérgio Goulart Machado

Galp | Head of Hydrogen

Sérgio Goulart Machado has over 20 years of experience in the energy and mobility sectors having played a diversified set of roles.

He is currently Head of Hydrogen in Galp after addressing the challenge of being Director of Global Business Development, where he was responsible for several large-scale asset acquisitions for Galp’s Upstream portfolio.

Before that, he held a variety of positions in Corporate Strategy, Gas & Power, Renewables, and Innovation.

He has also served as Advisor of the Secretary of State for Transports and Communications in Portugal. Sérgio holds a degree in Economics by Nova School of Business and Economics.
