She is a Professor at FEUP and President of LNEG since 2009.

Executive Vice President, elected, European Energy Research Alliance.

Vice-Chair of the Expert Group on Resources Management at the United Nations and Chair of the UN Resources Management System sub-group.

She has participated in several working groups with the European Commission.
