Bertrand Fauchet is the CEO of Movhera, a Company that runs the concessions of 6 hydropower plants in the Douro valley, and the second green energy producer in Portugal.
His career spans over 30 years of major changes of the energy world, in various positions. He was an engineer for 8 years, starting with hydro power plant with Coyne et Bellier (now Tractebel Engineering). He devoted more than15 years to developing Energy Management and Trading activities across Europe.
He was Senior Executive Vice President of Storengy, the gas storage affiliate of ENGIE, leading transformation while securing the activity, from an industrial, regulatory, and financial standpoints. He has been Board member of several Energy companies, including infrastructure, trading and energy exchange.
