From an early age, Ricardo Meireles bet on an international career, representing and developing businesses for Portuguese companies abroad. It is in this context that he entered the renewable energy sector, through the Martifer group, developing businesses in the construction and operation of photovoltaic parks in markets such as Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Portugal. He did an Executive MBA specializing in Energy from the BI Norwegian Business School, and then invested in his own REWATT business project, which today is part of the Smartenergy group, focused on developing ESCO projects for business self-consumption and energy communities.
