Ivone Rocha is responsible for the practice area of Environment, Energy and Natural Resources at TELLES Advogados, providing legal advisory services to public and private entities, with special references on the development of energy production projects, energy efficiency, circular economy, efficiency water and water public contracts, emissions licenses and urban mobility. Ivone is a Partner at TELLES since 2018.

She was a member of the District Council of Porto of the Bar Association (1997/2007); Founder partner of the law firm – Ivone Rocha & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, R.L. (2003/2006); Chairwoman of the Standing Group “Energy and Environment law” of Eurojuris (2008/2009); President of Eurojuris Portugal (2006/2009); Partner of JPAB & Associates Law Firm, R.L., where he founded and have coordinated the Department of Environment and Energy (2006/2013); Partner of SRS, Rebelo de Sousa Society, Bar Association, RL where he coordinated the Department of Public and Environment.

Ivone is Co-author of the books “Climate Chance! A legal-economic reflection of the carbon market” and  “CHANCE to CHANGE - The Paris Agreement and the Green Growth Model”. She has also published several articles and is regularly invited to participate as a speaker in specialty conferences.

She is a member of the ICC Climate Arbitration Task Force, founder and vice-president of the Portuguese Association of Energy Law and member of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Energy Law Associations.
