Industrial Engineer with MBA studies, Santiago has more than 25 years of experience in the Energy Sector.

Managing Director of DNV GL Energy for Iberia and Latam, leading a team of more than 200 engineers in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Mexico.

Santiago has developed his professional career in Europa and America, working with most of the main Energy companies in relevant projects of Engineering and Consultancy. Main areas covered are Renewable Energy, Transmission&Distribution and Markets and System Operations, with a deep insight on Business and main technological trends.

Currently, Santiago is specially focused on the Energy Transition, massive integration of Renewable Energy and new business models driven by Digitalization.

He is an active member of several organizations and frequent speaker in different conferences in the Region.
