Between January and September 2019, renewable energy sources produced 17.9 TWh of electricity, contributing with 51.9 % of the electricity generation mix.
October 2019
Between January and October 2019, renewable energy sources generated 19.8 TWh of electricity, contributing to 51.6 % of the production mix.
November 2019
Between January and November 2019, renewable energy sources generated 23.0 TWh of electricity, contributing with 53.3% of the total electricity generation. In November, the renewables share was 66.6%.
December 2019
In 2019, renewable energy sources generated 27.3 TWh of electricity, contributing with 56.0 % of the total electricity generation. In December, renewable incorporation was 77.2 %.
January 2020
On January 2020, the national electricity system recorded electricity imports of 307 GWh and exports of 804 GWh, resulting in an export balance of 497 GWh.
February 2020
Between January and February 2020, the national electricity system recorded electricity imports of 812 GWh and exports of 1 161 GWh, resulting in an export balance of 497 GWh.
March 2020
Between January and March 2020, the Portuguese mainland electricity system recorded electricity imports of 1,354 GWh and exports of 1,475 GWh, resulting in an export balance of 121 GWh.
April 2020
Between January and April of 2020, the Portuguese mainland electricity system recorded electricity imports of 2,020 GWh and exports of 1,630 GWh, resulting in an import balance of 390 GWh.
